The Johnson County Library will hold the 2017 Annual Sizzlin’ Summer Used Book Sale in cooperation with Friends of the Library at JCCC Fieldhouse GYM, 12345 College Blvd, Overland Park KS, June 8 – 10. Approximately 100,000 books & audiovisual items at bargain prices. Most items 25¢ – $2.00; some items specially priced. Proceeds from the used book sale benefit the Johnson County Library to help fund programs, projects and special events.

On Saturday June 10th from 2:30pm – 6pm we are looking for able bodied volunteers to pack any remaining books from the sale. Children age appropriate for packing/moving boxes are welcome under adult supervision.

Parking: Enter from College Boulevard, take the first right to N. Campus Drive. The Gym is up ahead on the left, and you can park in the lots in front of the Gym.

WEAR comfortable clothing & shoes for packing/moving boxes. **There will be NO place to store purses, bags, keys, etc. so please plan accordingly. 

Waitlist: If an event is full volunteers can join the waitlist. If a spot opens up, you are automatically added to the attending list in the order you joined the waitlist. Please remove yourself from the waitlist if you make other plans so the next available person can join in the event of a last minute cancellation.
