The Bridging the Gap 25th annual Gala is in a few weeks and they need volunteers to help get ready. We’ll be remove labels, cut plastic bottles & assemble them into ‘upcycled’ sculptures to be displayed at Gala. Don’t worry, they will give all the instructions we need. No supplies required, just your hands and time.
AGE REQUIREMENT: Must be at least 18-years-old to attend this event.
We’ll meet at the Bridging the Gap offices located in the Hobbs Building (1427 W. 9th St., Suite 201) in the West Bottoms. This is a secure building so please arrive promptly so we can all go up at the same time. You can call my cell at 816-582-7857 if you have trouble finding us. The office is on the 2nd floor with no elevator access so volunteers will need to be able to climb one flight of stairs to attend this event.
Parking is avaible on 9th street in a designated parking area or in the small gravel lot just east of the Hobbs Building.
Bridging the Gap works to make the Kansas City region sustainable by “connecting environment, economy and community,” and is the premier organization in the area providing environmental education and volunteer action through more than 1,500 volunteers annually.
