About the Event

Overland Park Rotary’s 4th of July Star Spangled Spectacular is a community celebration, fund raiser, and civic service event.

As one of Corporate Woods’ and the City of Overland Park’s premier gatherings, the event draws people in the immediate and surrounding areas to share comraderie, music, family activities to celebrate our country’s birth and veterans.

The event raises money for  local charities selected annually as well as the Overland Park Rotary Club Foundation. 

This year marks the 24th annual event presented by Rotary Club Overland Park.

In case of rain, the rain date is Sunday night, July 5. There will be fireworks only – same time and same place. Watch the SSS site for weather information.

What We Will Do

Serve KC volunteers have the privilege of assisting with ensuring that the 500+ veteran’s who attend this event are provided with a great meal and in the parking area.

Report to the Veteran’s Tent. 

We will predominantly assist with ensuring that there is food available to the veteran’s, bus tables, etc. This will be a great opportunity to thank our vets for their service and to learn more about how important this holiday is to them.
