Carving Jack O’Lanterns at Powell Gardens

GLOW Jack-O-Lantern Festival is a spellbinding Halloween experience at Powell Gardens. More than 750 hand-carved Jack-O-Lanterns will light a flickering path through the Gardens with vignettes exploring this year’s theme, “Nature’s Nightmares.”

Volunteers are needed to carve Jack-O-Lanterns –RSVPs are needed so we can plan space and tools for everyone. Feel free to invite your friends!

Volunteers must be 16 years old and up.  Wear closed toe, non-skid shoes and clothes that can get messy.

THURSDAY, OCT 15 6:00- 9:00 pm

We have all tools and patterns.

Volunteers will get a FREE pass to come back to the Festival on Oct 17 or 18.

NOTE:  There is also a Friday, Oct 16 carving event listed on a separate event page.
