Serve KC volunteers will help KC Autism Training Center make and organize materials used in their children’s programs. Please come ready to work, all supplies will be provided along with further instructions.
Our To Do List:
– change a bulletin board
– steam clean rugs
– lamination 🙂
– look up pictures on the computer for programs
– take down and organize Halloween decorations
Kid Friendly: Children are welcome to volunteer with you, please comment with ages so we can try to plan activities they can help with.
DIRECTIONS: KcATC inside Faith Lutheran Church located on the corner of 67th & Roe. Please park in the South Lot located off Roe and behind the church. It’s a big parking lot and the entrance is at the northwest corner. KcATC is just inside the two sets of double doors on the right, enter and turn left just after the staircase to enter the social hall where we’ll meet.
Kansas City Autism Training Center is a non-profit specializing in the treatment of autism spectrum disorders and located in Prairie Village. Their mission is to provide professional, research-based intervention, training and education for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders. KcATC provides full-time and part-time treatment for children between the ages of two and a half up to twelve years old. The facility is open year-round, providing 1-on-1 Applied Behavioral Analysis services that are customized for each child.
