Create Learning Materials for Children with Autism

Serve KC volunteers will help KC Autism Training Center make and organize materials used in their children’s programs. Tasks range from laminating and cutting out flash cards to cleaning and organizing classrooms. Please come ready to work, all supplies will be provided along with further instructions.

Kid Friendly: Children are welcome to volunteer with you, please comment with ages so we can try to plan activities they can help with. 

Directions: Park in the South Lot off of Roe behind Faith Lutheran Church just past 67th street. Follow the signs for Astra Day School. There will be two sets of double doors, use the set to the right to enter the building, then take a left just past the staircase to meet in the social hall. 

Kansas City Autism Training Center is a non-profit specializing in the treatment of autism spectrum disorders and located in Prairie Village. Their mission is to provide professional, research-based intervention, training and education for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders. KcATC provides full-time and part-time treatment for children between the ages of two and a half up to twelve years old. The facility is open year-round, providing 1-on-1 Applied Behavioral Analysis services that are customized for each child.
