The Festival of Trees silent auction will close at 3pm on Sunday Nov 12th and the high bidder will be contacted via phone in order to make arrangements for payment and delivery/pick up. Items will be available for pick up starting at 5pm. All items must either be picked up or delivery arrangements made by 9pm. (Everything MUST be removed from the Overland Park Convention Center by 10pm!) Winning bidders will pick up wreaths/treas from Serve KC volunteers that will be stationed in “sections” in the lower level of the convention center. (There are a few items on the 2nd floor where 2 Serve KC volunteers will be stationed.) Volunteers will check for paid receipt prior to release of items. Wreaths are hung on a wall via twine and can be cut down with scissors. Trees can either be picked up or delivered. Serve KC volunteers may be asked to help wrap the trees for delivery. If you are able to help load trees into winning bidder’s vehicle please note that in the comments. For trees being delivered we have a moving company who will load those into their delivery truck! In addition, Serve KC volunteers will collect all stands in their assigned section and place them in a storage bid for transport.
