The Gillis Annual Golf Tournament is the largest fundraiser of the year for this amazing organization. We would love to help make this year another great success for Gillis and that requires many, many awesome volunteers! Tournament Set-Up

Description: Unload supplies from truck, fill coolers/carts with beverages and snacks..Stuff bags. 1.&2. Set up tents. Need some strong people. MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 50+ LBS.

Description: Greet golfers. Acquire golfer contact information. Tell golfers chipping and putting ends at 10:30. Offer to sell more raffle tickets.

Description: Set-up bar and assist with drinks. Put 2 bags on each cart ahead of time. Bags contain tees, balls and Coozies.

Description: (Lunch donated by Woodyard BBQ) Help serve, notify golfers on course that it is lunch time. Sort lunches, distribute to golfers.

Hole-in-One Witness/Spotters

Description: Watch golfers on hole-in-ones

Shift: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Must be 21 years old.

Hole Spotters

Description: Welcome golfers to the hole let them know there are snacks and drinks in the cooler. If there is a game on that hole let them know what it is. Spotters & shag balls. If you see the ball hit let them know where it landed.

Escort Cart

Description: Take photos, assist pro shop with score cards, assist photographer and assist volunteers if they need a ride to the restroom

Gillis Center is a healing place for at-risk children and families, providing education, counseling, social service, residence and emergency shelter. The children who live there, the boys and girls who attend their school-based day treatment, and the troubled families who go to heal; all have a story. Some stories are horrific and traumatic, some sad, some infuriating but almost all of them have the same ending: Hurting people made whole again at Gillis.
