Help with the 2016 AIDS Walk Open (mini-golf pub crawl)

Please read the entire post. Please make sure you are available for the entire event.

AIDS Walk Kansas City is the primary fundraising event for the AIDS Service Foundation of Greater Kansas City, whose board distributes the money to AIDS service organizations (KC Care Clinic, SAVE Inc, Good Samaritan Project, Hope Care Center).

AIDS Walk holds several opportunities throughout the year to raise funds, including the very popular Mini-Golf Pub Crawl!  The pub crawl is held at several bars but our designated locations are: Char Bar, Hamburger Mary’s, Uptown Arts Bar and Woody’s Classic Sports Pub.

We will have 4 teams with 4 volunteers at each location (gather your friends or sign yourself up and make friends). Please message me with your tshirt size (and your team members if you have a team). I need one Serve KC “Host” for each location (you do nothing out of the ordinary except show up and call yourself “Host”).

The volunteer duties are:

Registration & Check-in / Scorecard Collector

Team Organizer

Raffle/Mulligan Sales

Score Keeper

The duties are easy and you’ll get instructions that day. The pub crawl starts at 10am. When you arrive for volunteer duty at 2:15pm, find the 1st shift volunteers and take over their spot so they can leave.

If you have a volunteer team together, please RSVP with  +3 and comment with all team members names (and location preference if you have one).

If you have a preference of a bar/location as noted above, please comment after you RSVP.

I will update this page as RSVP’s are received.

Location addresses are:

Hamburger Mary’s – 3700 Broadway, KCMO

Uptown Arts Bar – 3611 Broadway, KCMO

Woody’s Classic Sports Pub – 3740 Broadway, KCMO

Pub crawl participants will be traveling from bar to bar on a bus, so parking for volunteers should not be an issue.

If you have any questions, please comment or message me.

If you prefer to participate in the pub crawl, please do! See the aids walk open link below.
