Shine a light on autism by joining Serve KC as we volunteer at KC Autism Training Center’s 2nd Annual “Light It Up Blue” ceremony. We’ll help with setup from 6-6:30, then manage the beverage tables, run carnival games, control the bounce houses and afterwards help with cleanup.
DRESS: Blue is the color of the night, so if you want to wear blue that would be fantastic! The event is planned to be outdoors, layers are suggested because you never know. We will move indoors if rain.
PARKING: Please park in the North parking lot of Faith Lutheran Church. This lot is located off 67th St. The event occurs on the opposite side of the building in the parking lot.
“Light It Up Blue” is in conjunction with World Autism Awareness Day, will be held in the south parking lot of Faith Lutheran Church, which is also home to the Kansas City Autism Training Center. The event will include free food, music and family fun from 6:30-8:30 p.m. At sunset the entire building will glow blue and stay that way for the entire month to spread awareness.
