Pack Classrooms for KC Autism Move Day

KC Autism Training Center is moving to a new building later this month and have asked for our helping packing up their classroom materials for the big move. Volunteers should wear comfortable shoes and clothing.

Kids are welcome to attend & volunteer with an adult.

USE THE SOUTH DOOR: KcATC is inside Faith Lutheran Church at Roe & 67th. Park in the South Lot off Roe and follow the signs for Astra Day School. Google maps will send you to the wrong door which will be locked. On the South side of the building there are two entrances, take the double set of doors on the right. Once inside meet in the Social Hall just past the stairs on your left.

Serve KC has volunteered with KCATC since April of 2014 on a monthly basis helping teachers create learning materials for students, as well as cleaning and organizing tasks. We’ve also helped with special events.

Kansas City Autism Training Center is a non-profit specializing in the treatment of autism spectrum disorders and located in Prairie Village. KcATC provides full-time and part-time treatment for children between the ages of two and a half up to twelve years old. The facility is open year-round, providing 1-on-1 Applied Behavioral Analysis services that are customized for each child.

Waitlist: If an event is full volunteers can join the waitlist. If a spot opens up, you are automatically added to the attending list in the order you joined the waitlist. Please remove yourself from the waitlist if you make other plans so the next available person can join in the event of a last minute cancellation.
