River of Refuge is having an Open House on our usual worknight so we decided to have a fun game night with the kids while people tour the facility during this public event. There are currently 18 kids in the transitional housing program ranging in age from infant to teen.

Please sign-up to bring a snack or drink listed below and if you have any kid-friendly games please bring them with you. I’ve schedule the event for 4:30pm to allow for setup, please arrive by 5 pm and meet in the basement community room.

OPEN HOUSE: It’s time to celebrate! After years of hard work and tons of community support River of Refuge is pleased to invite the community to an open house on Thursday, June 2nd from 5-7pm. There will be tours of our Transitional Housing units as well as staff on hand to answer questions. Serve KC members are welcome to attend the do not RSVP to attend the Open House, only if you want to help with games.

DIRECTIONS: Google maps will take you to the wrong entrance so please view this MAP so you won’t get lost. Once you turn off Raytown Rd. you’ll need to veer to the right, go up a hill and the offices are on the left. DO NOT go to Two Rivers, which is on the right.
