Prepare donated supplies for classrooms in KCK schools

Come help prepare the supplies that have gathered for the teachers in KCK! ServeKC volunteers will help sort and set out classroom supplies at Mark Twain Elementary.

Many school districts do not have the funds to adequately supply classrooms, resulting in teachers having to buy some of the needed resources. This can present a significant hardship. Fortunately, there are teachers from school districts in other communities who have surplus items at the end of the school year which they generously donate to L3 l Love Literacy LIfe. The surrounding elementary, middle and high school teachers will then be invited to shop and take what they need.

**Age Requirements: This is a family-friendly event as children as young as 3 may volunteer!

**Leave all valuables and personal belongings locked in the trunk of your car as there is no secure place to leave them during the event.

**Waitlist: If an event is full volunteers can join the waitlist. If a spot opens up, you are automatically added to the attending list in the order you joined the waitlist. Please remove yourself from the waitlist if you make other plans so the next available person can join in the event of a last minute cancellation.
