Join us as we serve breakfast to the homeless and impoverished at Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church in KCK. Episcopal Community Services works with the 188.8.131.52.5. Fit-Tastic program to offer a meal that is nutritious and talk about healthy choices that can help our guests deal with issues like high blood pressure and diabetes.
This is an interactive event with the guests. They are lovely people, polite and thankful. Suggest wear comfortable shoes, modest clothing. Bring your water bottle if you’d like. 8:30am-9:30am is dining room set up. 9:30-10:30am (ish) is breakfast serving/eating. 10:30-11:30am is clean up. Please plan to stay and help clean up. Volunteers are invited to eat after the guests are finished eating. Note, prior to starting to serve breakfast, there is a prayer led by a church elder. If you are more comfortable leaving the room during this time, you are more than welcome to do so.
