Sort and Serve Guests at My Father’s House Furnishings Ministry

My Father’s House furnishes hope to those in need in the Kansas City community by collecting, preparing, and distributing donated furnishings and home essentials.  Every Saturday morning, guests are referred to the My Father’s House warehouse showroom by partner agencies.  Our guests may be veterans transitioning out of homelessness, survivors of domestic violence, children aging out of the foster care system, or families affected by fire or natural disaster, among others.  My Father’s House is the furnishings ministry of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection.  Volunteer opportunities are open to all with a heart for serving others.
