Volunteers are needed to help make the KC Zoo Run (2015 Run for the Orangutans) a success!   Please choose a job from the below needs and post it in the comment section on this page.

Volunteers get a Zoo Run T-shirt, donuts/coffee and admission to the zoo for the remainder of that day.

Jobs Needed:

***0 volunteers needed to help cut up fruit/prepare cold food for the runners (6:30am-1030am) 

Volunteers signed up for Food – Rita, Joni, Ginny, Michael G, Kelly.

***Finish Line – Many volunteers needed to hand out ribbons at the finish line  (7:30am-10:30am)

Volunteers signed up for Finish Line – Melzee +1, Emily, Shelley +1, Tammy

***Aid Station – 3 volunteers needed to work the aid station tent  (7:15am-10:15am)

Volunteers signed up for Aid Station – Penny, Lucille, Kristina +1

***Serve KC prefers to volunteer together in groups, but if you’d like to volunteer and be a course monitor (many are needed), you’d be standing about 15-20feet from the next course monitor. I did not specifically tell the Zoo volunteer coordinator that we would help with this but if anyone wants to do this, you’re more than welcome.
