Girl Scouts of NE KS and NW MO is looking for volunteers to assist with a field trip event to Science City. They are bringing the Science City experience to their Outreach Girl Scout troops and are expecting 200-300 girls! 

There are two events, the first on Saturday, November 5th, and the second on Saturday, November 12th.   For each event two shifts are available, you can choose one or both, 5 – 7pm and/or 6:30 – 8:30 pm.  When you RSVP, please indicate which shift you are interested in.

Volunteer Opportunities: 

• Food Crew – Serving pizza for dinner.

• Clean-Up Crew – Takes out trash and wipes down tables after dinner.

This is a great opportunity to connect with other Serve KC members while you are aiding the Girl Scouts Organization.  As a volunteer you are able to have some pizza as well! 🙂

Make sure to park in the WEST YARD Garage. 

When you arrive at Union Station, go down stairs and check in at the Volunteer Booth.  The booth will be set up near the “Extreme Screen” area near the planetarium.  We will do our best to be visible for you!  There you will receive a name tag, be introduced to other volunteers in your area, and have a time of briefing for each area of volunteering.

This event is for those 18 years old and older.  Please wear closed toed shoes and casual attire.
