Monitor Bounce Houses at Phoenix Family – Oakland Heights Block Party

Serve KC Volunteers will monitor bouncy houses at the Oakland Heights Block Party for Phoenix Family Services, ensuring that all children are taking turns and playing within the bounce-houses safely.

This is a grill-out for the children and families who utilize Phoenix Families services.  Serve KC volunteers will be permitted to eat lunch, however please be respectful to ensure that the children and families eat first and volunteers last.

Bottled water will be available with lunch, you may want to bring one to have prior to lunch as it is expected to be hot Saturday.

Children 14 or older are welcome to volunteer with a parent or guardian.

Parking – Please park anywhere along 24th street and walk to the outdoor area.  Leave all purses and valuables locked in your car, there is no location to store them securely at this event.

Meet – There is a Phoenix Family sign at the dual drive entrance, the group will meet in front of that sign then proceed to the bouncy houses.

Attire – This entire event is outside and it is expected to be warm and sunny Saturday.  Shorts / T-shirts are fine, modest tank tops are acceptable, NO crop, strapless or halter tops, swimsuit tops, etc.  We recommend comfortable shoes as we will be walking or standing on pavement the entire event.  You may want to bring sunscreen, a hat and a bottle of water.

If you have questions or have trouble locating the group, feel free to give me a call 773-314-7242.
