Uplift is a homeless outreach program run entirely by volunteers since 1990. They deliver meals three times a week to around 300 people along with clothing and other necessities.
ServeKC volunteers will help in the garden with various projects from weeding, picking vegetables, and other garden maintenance tasks. Please bring your garden gloves, a kneeling pad (if you would like), bug spray and a water bottle.
All ages welcome with adult supervision for those under 18.
Directions: Take US-71 S / I-49 S to the Belton/Raymore MO-58 E highway exit. Go east on MO-58 to Kentucky Rd., then take a left to head North. You’ll pass a red barn and the garden is on your right. Park on either side of the garden or turn left and park on Hardee Street. This is a residential area.
